Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson has denied media reports that he once bailed interdicted Managing Director Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe who was arrested for fraud.
Some of the allegations against the beleaguered football administrator are that he used the clubââ¬â¢s letterhead in an illegal visa application scandal.
This resulted in his arrest and sent to the Darkuman Police station in Accra only to be bailed by a fellow Hearts board member whose identity was revealed as Nelson.
But Nelson says he was never involved in signing for the FIFA marketing consultant to be released.
ââ¬ÅI have not gone to bail anybody,â⬠he told Hello FM. ââ¬ÅEven the Darkuman police station, I don't know there.ââ¬
Armstrong-Mortagbe is being investigated by a three-man committee for malfeasance.
