Hearts board to decide on new CEO on Thursday

Posted On Wednesday, 6th March 2013

Will Neil Amstrong-Mortagbe get the nod as Hearts of Oak Chief Executive?

The board of directors of Heats of Oak will meet on Thursday to decide who will be appointed Chief Executive.

The position at the club has been made vacant since Fred Crentsil decided not to continue after the expiration of his contract last season.

Hearts of Oak’s accountant Hackman Aidoo and chairman of the supporters union Alhaji Moro Akanbi have been holding the fort.

Former supporters chief Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe is reported to be the leading candidate for the top job.

Also, former management member Randy Abbey and AshantiGold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo are reported to be in the running for the position.

Reports say the board wants to hand over the club to full-time employee to solve their long-standing administrative problems.

Hearts have had a tough season as they lie 12th on the Ghana Premier League table.

I think Mr Neil Armstrong Mortagbe is the man all the supporters yearn for. He is an accomplished phobian of great repute. I there appeal to the Board to finally give the nod to him to steer the affairs of the club and return us to our famous glory days. May the Almighty bless Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak and make us successful like never before . PHOOOOOOOBIA!!! STILL THE BEST AND GREATEST CLUB IN GHANA.

  2. Fresher says:

Appointing a ceo to run the day to day affairs of the club is nothing new to our weary ears, we have heared this porky lies over and over again and again. It is evidently clear that Hearts of Oaks as a club is mired in “ADVENTUROUS DELUSION”, the club in itself doesn’t know what its core objectives are or what it is up to or where is it being headed to.

  3. Pillar says:

    Neil is the best!period

  4. Emma Cee says:
