Ghanaian giants Heart of Oak are sweating over the fitness of captain Karim Alhassan ahead of the derby against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Alhassan is struggling with a knee injury and there are concerns he may not be available for selection for the country’s version of the ''El Classico'' at the Accra Sports stadium.

Serbian head coach Nebojsa Vucicevic will make a late decision on the 19-year-old whose involvement will be key for the former African champions.

Striker Mahatma Otoo has declared himself fit after picking a knock in the side’s 2-1 win over city rivals Liberty Professionals last Saturday.
