Hearts captain Thomas Abbey described as "GOD" by teammate Samudeen Ibrahim

Hearts of Oak midfiedler Samudeeen Ibrahim has labeled Thomas Abbey as "God" following his stellar performance in the win agaisnt Berelkum Chelsea on Wednesday.

Abbey was adjudged man of the match in Hearts 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in week 22 of the Ghana Premier League following his two-goal strike in either of the half to take his tally in the campaign to ten, just one adrift of leading scorer Nicholas Gyan of Ebusua Dwarfs.

 

Speaking after the match, Samudeen was thrilled with his skipper's performance for the side in the ongoing season by describing his as "God" of the side.

"For now i think Thomas Abbey is like a God to us," He said after their game with Berekum Chelsea.

"Now are beginning to worship him because he is our everything, he gives us hope every time.

The win moved Hearts back on 3rd spot with 36 points after 22 games.
