Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Fred Crentsil is adamant the club will not sack Serbian trainer Nebojsa Vucicevic.

The future of the 48-year-old has been hugely speculated in the media with management member Haruna Aziz Futah openly questioning his technical competence following the side's 3-1 defeat to bitter rivals Asante Kotoko

But the club's CEO has jumped to the defence of the under-fire European tactician insisting he is done no wrong to be sacrificed.

"I got a lot of calls asking to sack the coach but there is no way that would happen. We are sticking by him," Crentsil told TV3 on Wednesday.

"Mistakes were made in that game but we are running a program and as far we are concerned there is no reason to panic yet.

Crentsil believes the coach can at least secure a top-four finish.

"Ideally we want to win the league title because this is our centenary year but we are realistic. We will be happy with a top four finish at least," he concluded.
