Hearts chief Alhaji Hearts jabs Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV; brands him a liar

Former Accra Hearts of Oak management member, Alhaji Sulemana Ibrahim, popularly known as Alhaji Hearts has taken a swipe at the club’s Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV branding him a liar after yesterday’s Annual General Meeting of the club.

The Board Chairman and the highest shareholder of the club, Togbe Afede XIV is on record to have said that any member of the Phobian fraternity who wants him to leave the club should buy his shares ffor him to walk away.

Togbe Afede  XIV is also noted to have said that the former management members who think he is running the club down have not contributed in any way towards the developmet of the club.

In a shard responmse to the comments of the Board Chairman, former management member, Alhaji Hearts says Togbe is a liar for saying former management members do not support the club.

Speaking in an interview on Happy FM in Accra, Alhaji Hearts inquired: “When was the last time he invited us which we turned down? He has never invited us to think together for the progress of the club so he should stop saying we don’t support the club.”

“Does he think that we will just walk to him to help the club because we love the club? No it doesn’t work that way. He has never invited us to any meeting so he should stop telling the public what he’s been  saying.” He added.

Hearts of Oak held their 4th Annual General Meeting at the International Conference Center in Accra yesterday.
