Hearts of Oak are closing in on Togo international defender Abdoul Nafiou Yorou, GHANASoccernet.com can report.

The Phobians are expected to finalize the deal in the coming weeks as the Delta Academie Liberty graduate has been training with the club with a view of concluding personal terms.

The 25-year-old has had stints with Togolese outfit Etoile Filante, USS Krake in Benin, Sofapaka FC in Kenya and Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea.

He was part of the Togo team that finished third in the WAFU Nations Cup 2013 in Ghana.

    We are sick and tired of signing defenders and midfielders. We need through and through striker. Striking has been our major challenge for so many years now, esp. after the exit of Mahatma Otoo. What is this?Sign a striker who can score from free kicks.
