Hearts coach blasts referee for Lions draw

Coach Nebojsa Vucicevic has blamed Hearts of Oak's disappointing 2-2 draw with Heart of Lions at home to poor officiating.

Twice, the Phobians blew away a lead to allow Lions to draw level.

But the Serbian trainer insists his side was denied two glaring penalty opportunities which according to him robbed his team off a victory on Sunday.

"Just like the last game against Bechem United we had two penalties but the referee did not give us," Vucicevic told MTNFootball.com after the game.

"Something must change with the referee, plenty time referee make Hearts not win matches and this is making things very difficult."

The result meant Hearts dropped to third in the league on goal difference despite tied on 27 points with second-placed Berekum Chelsea.
