Hearts coach Herbert Addo has down played the effect of his side’s 2-1 loss to second-tier side Tema Youth, saying his team is a work-in-progress.

The Phobians went down 2-1 at the Tema Sports Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The defeat served as a reality check to the Phobians who had brushed aside some lower division sides in pre-season games.

But Addo says the score-line was not what mattered for him when he played Tema Youth.

“We are still assessing the team and testing the players to their real capabilities,” the experienced trainer told GHANASoccernet.com

“The results does not mean so much to me it’s the performance I am looking at.

“I am satisfied with what I saw in the game and that’s the most important thing.”
