CK Akunnor launched a rare stinging attack on his Hearts side despite their 2-1 win over Dunkwa United to progress in the MTN FA cup.

The capital-based side were made to sweat for the victory after the second-tier side took an early lead in the first half.

But goals from striker Mahatma Otoo and midfielder Uriah Asante ensured the Phobians advanced to the next stage of the competition by the skin of the teeth.

But coach Akunnor was least pleased with his men’s output and did not provided excuses for them.

“I think they played poorly and that must be pointed out to them,” Akunnor said

“You can’t put such performances and expect to win all the time. I do not want to single out anybody but our output today was simply poor to say the least,”

The FA cup is Hearts only chance to win a silverware this season.
