Hearts of Oak coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has fired back at AshantiGold coach David Duncan who suggested he fielded a second string side in Sunday's Sports Writers Association of Ghana Cup match.

Duncan questioned the rationale behind the decision of his opposite number to field fringe players after employing a  much stronger side last Wednesday in their 3-1 defeat in the Kings Cup.

Fabin has told the acid-tongue tactician to savor in his side's penalty shoot-out victory and mind his own business.

"What is Duncan talking about? His behaviour on the pitch was very surprising and am shocked to hear him say these things simply because he was lucky during the penalty shoot-out," Fabin said.

"We beat him at his own backyard in Obuasi and so if he's gotten the luck and won the game, he must concentrate on that and stop making baseless accusations."

AshGold's triumph over Hearts is their second in five days ahead of the start of the new Ghana Premier League.
