Hearts coach Kenichi has congratulated the Black Stars

Accra Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi  has congratulated the Black Stars for their 2-0 triumph over Comoros in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday. 

The Black Stars overcame a stubborn Comoros side to win 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

UD Las Palmas midfielder opened the scoring for Ghana with an artful free-kick in the 18th minute before Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew sealed the win for Avram Grant's side before home fans.

Ghana has joined the list of countries who have qualified to enter the group stage of the qualifiers and the Japanese trainer who joined Hearts last month has congratulated the team for their performance.

He tweeted on his official Twitter account and also commented on the progress of his side at training last on Tuesday morning.
