Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo has blamed his side’s inability to win matches at home on immense pressure from the fans.

The Phobians are yet to register a home win since Polo took over late last year.

Hearts’ home woes continued on Wednesday as they played out a disappointing home draw with strugglers Ebusua Dwarfs.

The Phobians failed to replicate their impressive away win at Aduana Stars last weekend before their expectant home fans in Accra in their midweek clash.

Polo has attributed his side’s home deficiency to the rising pressure from the fans. "It was a difficult match but in the second half we dominated and should have scored a goal," the club legend turned coach said after the match on Wednesday. "It's the pressure. If they had the support, with the ball they played in the second half we should have won the game."

Hearts have now fallen a staggering 12 points behind leaders Asante Kotoko which all but cedes their title challenge to their rivals for yet another season.
