Hearts of Oak kept their chase for the top on course with an inspiring victory against Liberty Professionals to win the Accra derby.

The Phobians crushed their neighbours 2-0, scoring both goals under five minutes of the game at the Accra Stadium.

Eric Kumi scored the opener under a minute before Ruben Gnagne doubled their lead from the spot.

Liberty lifted their game but could not find the back of the net.

The win keeps the Phobians in seconds place and two points behind their rivals, Kotoko.
