Hearts defender Boampong to sign for Bucaspor

Ghana youth defender Philip Boampong is expected to sign for Turkish side Bucaspor in the coming days, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The rugged centre-back will cost the Turkish second-tier side US$ 250,000 and he will join compatriots Kabiru Imoro and Tawrick Jibril.

The 21-year-old is a player of local giants Hearts of Oak and younger brother of former international defender Dan Coleman.

Boampong was a member of the Ghana Under-20 team which the Africa and World Youth tournament in 2009.

Bucaspor were demoted from the Turkish top flight at the end of last season and want to return to the elite division.
