Hearts defender Inusah Musah nears exit after refusing contract extension

Published on: 04 June 2018

Hearts of Oak defender Inusah Musah has refused to extend his contract with the club to fuel speculation he's on his way out.

The towering centre-back has not featured for the Phobians since their 1-0 win over rivals Asante Kotoko due to a waist problem.

But multiple reports are suggesting on Monday that the defender is reluctant to renew his contract with the club which has ended

Musah wants to seek a new challenge and does not believe Hearts have the ambition he requires to push his career upward.

Reports say he is nearing an exit at the club after contributing immensely to the former African champions.

It's unclear if he will be allowed to leave on a free transfer with a number of clubs believed to be interested.

Defensive partner Vincent Atinga, captain Thomas Abbey and Leornard Tawiah left the club under similar circumstances.
