Hearts deny Prince Attakora-Gyimah was transfer-listed

Hearts have moved swiftly to clarify the situation on striker Prince Attakora-Gyimah insisting he was never put on the transfer-list.

The Phoians have offloaded some players for non-performance as head coach David Duncan continues his massive clear-out.

The former BA Stars striker was among the players mentioned as being part of the players deemed surplus to requirement.

But the club has denied ever putting him on the transfer-list.

“We have put the names of players that we have offloaded but Prince Attakorah Gyimah is not one of them,” Hearts PRO Muheed Saed said

“He (Gyimah) wanted to leave and therefore requested for his contract to be terminated.

“He is very much part of our plans but he wanted to move on and so we granted him his wish. It’s as simply as that.

"We however wish him well because he's a good player."

The former Medeama player joined Hearts from BA Stars two seasons ago.
