Ghana CHAN head coach Maxwell Konadu has revealed defender Nuru Sule isolated himself at training due to political comments made by Hearts of Oak fans in the media.

Hearts fans have accused Konadu of favouring Kotoko players in his selection policy due to his affiliation with the Ghanaian giants with group of fans storming the team's camping base to evict midfielder Moro Abubakar and Sule.

And the 40-year-old who also doubles as Ghana assistant coach reveals the wranglings has had a bad impact on the psyche of the defender.

"Nuru Sule for instance suffered a psychological problem because of these comments. At training he was always isolated and I had to call him and speak to him," he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

"Such comments are not good for the players. It makes them feel bad.

"I didn't see the Hearts fans and I don't believe they came there to take players away."

Former Hearts coach David Duncan also questioned Kotoko players' dominance of the various national teams.

Sule played an influential role in Ghana's win over Burkina Faso in the last Group game.
