Hearts fire blank against Ebusua Dwarfs

Hearts of Oak dropped points at home against Ebusua Dwarfs in a 0-0 draw on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians were seeking to respond after last week's 2-1 defeat to rivals Asante Kotoko but were thwarted by a resolute Dwarfs side.

Striker Mahatma Otoo was named in the starting line-up but could not lead the charge upfront.

Kofi Abanga was the first to come close to scoring but his looped shot over goalkeeper Boateng-who was off his line- failed to drop in time.

Soulama comes charging forward, sends in a good cross but is cleared by the Dwarfs defence.

In the 85th minute, another penalty shout from the Hearts faithful but referee Charles Tagoe waived and booked Douglas Nkrumah for diving.

Hearts are now 15 points behind leaders Kotoko in third place.
