 Goalkeeper Tetteh Luggard says he feels rewarded by coach David Duncan faith in him, and is eager to further underline his claim for the No.1 spot at Hearts
The 22-year-old was handed his opportunity to shine against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko and never disappointed with an incredible performance to emerge match-of-the match during Sunday’s Super Clash at the Baba Yara stadium.
The former Sporting Mirren shot-stopper was surprisingly picked ahead of favourite Philemon McCarthy and experienced Sammy Adjei.
After keeping a clean sheet against the Porcupine Warriors and earning rave reviews in the local media, Luggard is confident he can stake a claim for the permanent role.
“I’m very happy that many people were happy with my performance and I will  continue to workd hard to  improve,†Luggard told Peace Power Sports
“It is the dream of every goalkeeper to play actively and so that’s what I will hope to achieve.
“I want to play abroad and represent our national team if I’m given the opportunity. I want to remain top and get regular playing time
“Before the game I pulled a muscle. I was feeling pains in my thigh and that’s why I went down on many occasions.
“It wasn’t meant to play delay tactics.
Luggard could be in line to man the post for Hearts when they host Liberty Professionals on Sunday November 25.
