Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak will hold contract extension talks today with two key players midfielder Moro Abubakar and goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy whose contracts have expired.

The duo, who are key players for the Ghanaian giants, had their contracts expiring at the end of last season but could not reach a deal over extension.

With the league set to start and the transfer window closing by next week, the Phobians will call the duo for a meeting at the club's secretariat to extend the contract.

“We will hold contract talks with Moro Abubakar, Philemon McCarthy and all other players who have run out of contract," a source close to to the Phobians said on Thrusday.

"We want to extend their respective contracts that is why we want to open negotiations with them so we can seal the deals before the new season start."

Coach Herbert Addo is keen on extending the contract of the two players who have played at the Accra side for the past four seasons.

The manage is keen on sealing their contracts before the season starts next month.
