Accra Hearts of Oak have been dealt another big blow as their left-back Kassanu Ghandy is reported to be down with malaria and is currently receiving treatment.

The former U20 left back is said to have complained of the said sickness and was excluded from the side’s trip to Wa in their clash with the league leaders.

Ghandy who joined the club during the second transfer window of the Ghana Premier League has been superb for the Phobians, starting many games under new coach Sergio Traguil.

The latest sickness of Ghandy add to the already left back woes of the club as Kennedy Appiah and Isaac Oduro are still battling fitness.

Ghandy is however expected to join his colleagues at training to prepare for Sunday’s League game against Inter-Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium.
