Hearts of Oak managing director Neil Amstrong-Mortagbe has taken full responsibility of the team plummeting form in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The capital club crashed to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at home to Wa All Stars on Wednesday on the resumption of the top-flight.

Hearts have lost three in their last five league matches and slipped to fourth on the table.

“I will take full responsibility of the team’s performance yesterday and also in Wa during the last stages of last season,” Amstrong-Mortagbe told Accra-based Happy FM.

“Whatever remedial action we have to take we will be taken to ensure we recover.”

Hearts parted ways with coach David Duncan in November last year and installed club legend Mohammed Polo who is struggling to get results.
