David Duncan can join any club of his choice

Hearts have held a meeting with coach David Duncan over his compensation package, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The Phobians are expected to fork out a staggering $40,000 as Duncan’s compensation following the unlawful termination of his contract.

Hearts have failed to fulfill their promise of paying the Ashantigold trainer in five equal installments which has angered his lawyer Amoah Larbi.

The club has blatantly refused to adhere to the agreement, which gives Duncan the right to look for a new job, according to lawyer Larbi.

Duncan has been jobless since he was sacked by Hearts nine months ago and is barred from taken up a new job after November.

But the astute legal practitioner of the tough-talking coach has revealed his client is at liberty to look for a job after Hearts refused to pay his severance package.

“Hearts have no power to restrict my client from working after unlawfully terminating his contract,” he told Graphic Sports

“After we both agreed to pay the money in five equal installments starting from July 31, we are yet to hear from them."

Duncan's proposed move to Great Olympics has been put on ice until November but fresh details reveal he can sign for them after Hearts lost the right to hold him until November.
