Hearts midfielder Kofi Abanga is hopeful he can steer clear of injuries ahead of the start of the new season.
The 26-year-old has battled with injuries since his controversial move to the capital-based side and missed the chunk of games last season.
The former Aduana Stars enforcer hopes a pre-season clear of such problems will lead to a better start of the 2014-15 season.
"I knew it was going to be a difficult season for me, coming back from a difficult injury," he said.
"Unfortunately, I got another bad one at the beginning of the season.
"I played handful of games but I really feel better now and ready to play a part this season.
"This season is going to be an important one for me because I think I will be at the level I was before the injury.
"The signals this season is positive and if I could overcome all the troubles, then the sky will be the limit for us. Of course I want to do better because we can always do better."
Hearts will take on Tema Youth in a friendly on Wednesday as coach Herbert Addo steps up preparations ahead of the start of the new campaign.
