Hearts of Oak will be without their first choice goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama when the Ghana Premier League starts on 07 January after being named in Burkina Faso’s Nations Cup squad.

Soulama must join the Stallions squad in the coming days ahead of their pre-tournament camping on 03 January.

He is one of three goalkeepers invited by head coach Paul Put in his 24-man squad.

But Soulama will face a tough task to pick up the number one choice due to the delayed start in the Ghana Premier League.

Burkina Faso are in Group A at the Nations Cup where they will face hosts Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Congo-Brazzaville.
