Hearts of Oak’s Managing Director Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe has confirmed the club will not constitute a management team as done in the past.

The Phobians are without a recognized management team since the exit of the Fred Crentsil-led body.

The club has however functioned quite effectively with permanently appointed officials in various departments.

The Managing Director now says the current administrative model will be maintained with no formation of a management team as done in the past.

“A precise and concise no [on formation of management team] for now,” he said at a press conference on Thursday.

“At any point in time in consultation with the board if we feel we need to bring people on board we will but for now no.”

The day-to-day running of the club appears now to be a shared responsibility between the club’s accountant, public relations officer and other departments headed by the managing director himself.
