Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttall was a former fitness coach for English Premier League side West Brom.
Nuttall played for Celtic in the 1980s before starting his coaching career at the Baggies in 1998 as a fitness coach.
The Scotsman remained at The Hawthorns for two years until May 2000 and went on to be a fitness coach for Rangers and Middlesbrough, as well as a sporting adviser to the Chinese national team.
In 2014, he got his first job in management at Kenyan team Gor Mahia, where he spent two years.
But earlier this year, Nuttall was appointed manager of Hearts of Oak, in Ghana.
Hearts are one of Ghana’s biggest clubs and Nuttall guided them to third in the Ghana Premier League before losing 3-1 to bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in their FA Cup final on Sunday.
And failing to deliver any silverware this season has put Nuttall’s position under threat.
“I’m not particularly worried about my future at this point in time because it’s not important,” Nuttall told the Ghanaian press afterwards.
“It’s all about how to improve our performance, speaking to my players, motivating them and also giving them target for the future. So to be honest my future doesn’t come into it.”
