Veteran Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has jumped to the defense of under fire Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan hours after lifting the 2015 President cup.

Addo finally gave the Phobian family something to smile about after producing a spirited performance to retain their President Cup trophy.

The 5-4 penalty shootout victory ensured the Rainbow club remained unbeaten against their bitter rivals this season and most importantly bagged their first trophy of the season.

After the victory the former Inter Allies man said his side were still taking to him and same could be said of his opponents on the day.

“Everything is a process especially if you have to rebuild an entire team,” the gaffer told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Both Hearts and Kotoko played extremely well and it shows you the work we are doing, it will take time before the boys are able to produce this on a consistent basis.

“ I think you only needed to be at the stadium to see the work we have been doing so for me it all about building the team.”

The Phobians will now turn attention to Hasaacas wheom they face in the league on Sunday.
