Giants Hearts of Oak have confirmed the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as their new home venue for the forthcoming season.

The Phobians opted for the Cape Coast Stadium as their new home, following the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium for renovation works for the upcoming African Women's Championship to be hosted in the country.

The Rainbow Club have been using the Accra Sports Stadium as their home grounds for over four decades but will have join Ebusua Dwarfs who currently use the stadium as their home venue.

They were earlier reported to be considering several options, with the El Wak Stadium, the Tema Sports Stadium and the Swedru Park as suitable centers.

However, the club posted on their twitter handle they will be using the Cape Coast Stadium for the upcoming season.

Hearts will host fellow Premier League side Elmina Sharks in a friendly at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
