Hearts of Oak crash out of MTN FA Cup

Hearts of Oak's troubles for the season compounded on Sunday afternoon after being eliminated from the MTN FA Cup by a ten-man Berekum Arsenals side on penalties.

Arsenals took the lead through Eric Asiedu on 22 minutes but Abraham Annan drew level with spectacular curled shot from 19 yards in the 35th minute.

The visitors went ahead through Ernest Obeng but Captain Karim Alhassan restored parity on 76 minutes.

Both teams were tied at 5-5 but Hearts missed their sixth kick and Arsenals slotted home to shock the 20-time Ghana Premier League champions.
