Ghana goalkeeper Seidu Mutawakilu says he is delighted to hear his compatriot Yaw Yeboah has joined French Ligue 1 side Lille.
Mutawakilu played alongside the highly talented Yeboah during the Africa Youth Championship in Senegal and later the FIFA U-20 world cup held in New Zealand.
Yeboah will now play under former Ivorian head coach Harve Renard in the French top flight.
The 19-year-old is originally a Manchester City player but is hoping to enhance his talent with regular football in the French league.
And Mutawakilu says itââ¬â¢s a delight to hear of the progress Yeboah has made.
ââ¬ÅYeboah is a fantastic player with an ability to change games. I am really happy to hear that he has moved to Lille,ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬ Mutawakilu told GHANAsoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅI have played together with him on several occasions and I am aware of his talent.ââ¬
ââ¬ÅI wish him all the best knowing that he will have the desired impact over there.ââ¬
Yeboah was named the most valuable player during the Africa Youth Championship held in Senegal.
