Hearts of Oak have put off their residential pre-season camping until later this week.

The Phobians were supposed to have gone to camp on Monday to step up preparations towards the upcoming season.

However, the technical team wants more time to assess newly acquired players before settling on the bunch to commence camping at a yet to be determined location.

"Yes it is rather unfortunate that we did not leave as we planned on Monday but I believe that what is happening is in the best interest of the entire team," a member of the club's technical team told the Hearts News.

"As the technical team, we want to make sure that all the players we take to camping are of good quality."

Hearts have already sign big name players including Sakyi Quaye and Gilbert Fiamenyo from Medeama and Heart of Lions respectively.

They are looking to make three more signings before their residential pre-season camping begins on Thursday.

Hearts are looking to reclaim the Premier League title they last won in 2009 from rivals Asante Kotoko this term.
