Supporters chief Barima Atuahene says Hearts of Oak have abandoned their plans to sign forward Latif Salifu.
The former Ghana U20 star signed a three-year contract with the Phobians last month but the move appears to have fallen through.
Berekum Chelsea insists they still have a valid contract with Salifu who was signed by Hearts as a free agent.
Chelsea have even held talks to sell the swift forward to Ivorian champions AS Tanda.
Some fans of the Phobians feel theyââ¬â¢ve again been let down by the club on what appears to be another miss to sign an established Premier League performer.
And Barima Atuahene who is a member of Hearts of Oakââ¬â¢s board as a representative of the supporters say the club is no longer pursuing Latif Salifu.
ââ¬ÅLatif [Salifu] is no longer in the plans of Hearts of Oak,â⬠he told a supporterââ¬â¢s durbar in Kumasi.
ââ¬ÅHe is no longer part of our plans.ââ¬
