GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that Accra Hearts of Oak will be signing seven more players to augment their squad, having secured Amidaus Professionals duo of striker Selassie Adjei and midfielder Emmanuel Hayford.

This comes after the club announced the release of several players in the squad in a massive culling exercise that includes the release of key players Sammy Adjei and Osei Bonsu.

Some of the top targets for Hearts are the Aduana duo Stephen Adams and defender Saka, club insiders have told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Coach David Duncan is rebuilding his squad after a difficult season with the imminent departure of Hayford and Adjei are seen as ideal replacements.

The deal for the duo was clinched on Wednesday July 24th at the Hearts Secretariat between the buying club’s Administrative Manager Hackman Aidoo and a two-man Amidaus delegation of James Nanor and Abubakar Mohammed.

Hearts have also agreed terms with the two players who are expected to sign the dotted line next week upon receiving their enticement fees.

Selase Adjei was Amidaus’ joint top scorer alongside Yahya Mohammed with 10 goals last season to place third on the goal king chart.

Emmanuel Hayford is an energetic midfield enforcer who recovered from a mid-season injury to finish the season strongly, emerging as the MVP in his club’s last league fixture against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Tema.

    The name is YAHAYA Mohammed.

  2. Nii says:

It is most unfortunate. Duncan can not convince most of us that Tetteh Lugard is better than Sammy Adjei. We saw the cheap aerial goals he was conceding throughout the league. In our estimation, Sammy is one of the most experienced and finest players in Hearts today. Indeed, after assuming office, Duncan resolved to dispense with the services of some of old most trusted players like Bonsu. Thus deciding to let go Sammy is expected. But Duncan must be very careful. We the supporters are not happy. We see this decision as an attempt to destroy not only Hearts but also Adjei’s carrer. Sammy we still love. We shall all be monitoring Duncan’s real motive. He should tell us which keeper in Ghana today is better than Sammy Adjei. Duncan becareful.

sammy adjei is an experience keeper but has lost his agility. He can’t read when the team is on the ascendancy or under attack. He complain of everything and delays the game.l love him but he as lost it.Lugad is not good either.
