Team manager of Hearts of Oak Sabahn Quaye has reiterated their battle readiness to face Asante Kotoko in the upcoming Ghana@60 Years match.
The Phobians hold the advantage of clinching the trophy when the two bitterest adversaries meet at the Baba Yara Stadium on December 24, having won the first leg 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium in May.
However, it is the Porcupine Warriors who will go into the encounter in a buoyant mood after inflicting the same score line on the Accra-based side in last season's MTN FA Cup final some few weeks ago
During an interview with Happy FM, Quaye intimated that they have prepared well to avenge that famous defeat.
"We are preparing very well for the game," Quaye confidently stated.
"They beat us 3-1 in the FA Cup but it's not the first time we've lost to them. We have also beaten them 3-1 before but currently they are enjoying their victory so they feel on top of the world but that's not to say we will be going into the game as underdogs because we can never play second fiddle to Kotoko on any day, and I can assure you that we'll come back to Accra victorious."
Hearts will be without five of their last season's key players such as Vincent Atinga, Kwame Kizito, Thomas Abbey, Leonard Tawiah and Robin Gnagne following the expiration of their contracts.
