Hearts outcast Philip Boampong is adamant to sign a contract with Hasaacas despite being registered for the new season.

Boampong joined Hasmal on transfer deadline day after being frozen out at the capital-based side.

But the former Ghana Under-20 centre-back is yet to report to training after dragging his feet to put pen-to-paper on a permanent deal.

Media reports have suggested the defender is unhappy with the terms of the contract and will decide against joining the side.

Boampong is still a free agent despite being registered by the giants of the West and is available to sign for any club.

“I told them that I wanted to play only for one year and they agreed. But the money offered to me was paltry and even when I decided to accept, I did not like their terms of payment so I decided not to play for the”, he is quoted by ghanafootballnews.

“I am not desperate for a Club and I don’t know why Hearts gave them my card without telling me and without any form of negotiations, but for now, I am still in Accra."
