Hearts of Oak are considering reporting referee John Atikese to the Ghana FA for poor performance in their 2-1 defeat at Medeama last Wednesday.

The Phobians have accused the centre referee of robbing them off what would have been a famous win in the outstanding Premier League match played at the Tarkwa T&A Park.

Coach Mohammed Polo stormed onto the pitch after the game to register his displeasure to refereeAtikese.

The club is now considering lodging an official complaint to the Ghana FA over what they believe was a clear act of biased refereeing by the match officials.

“Officiating was the reason Medeama won the game,” Hearts’ spokesman Muheeb Saheed told Metro FM.

“If you strike and average, officiating was 70 percent and Medeama’s effort was 30 percent.

“Management will meet over this issue and then decide on whether to report it to the Ghana FA.”
