Hearts present blueprint to regaining dominance in Ghana and Africa

Hearts of Oak anticipate dominance on both the domestic and continental scene within the next three years in a performance blueprint revealed by Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe.

The blueprint themed ‘Restoring Phobian Glory’ will see the club undertake several strategic project intro achieving eleven key results.

The results to be achieve within a stipulated three year period include winning laurels on the field of play, stronger brand identity and merchandising drive, stronger professional outlook and stronger finances.

Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe in presenting the blueprint in an organized press conference at the club’s secretariat on Thursday says the presentation was made necessary in order to measure the progress of club.

“In my book what’s measured gets done, if you cannot measure then you cannot achieve,” he said.

“We need to restore this club to its past glory and these are things, tangibles by which we will be measuring our progress over a three-year period.

“We want to be able to make significant progress of course on the field of play and of it.

“There is a desire of every Phobian to see Hearts of Oak at the top of African football again and that is what we set out to do.

“I promise one thing, I promise hardwork and I expect everyone in the Phobian family to supporting us in this hardwork.”

The indicators or pointers presented by the managing director include enhancement of their infrastructure (with developmet of the Pobiman site at the core), create a database for registered supporters with benefits and revamp the chapters organization.

The others are to further energize the Hearts Ladies Club, the old player’s association (AHOOPA) and creating a corporate Phobian network.
