Accra Hearts of Oak advanced to the next stage of the MTN FA Cup after beating second-tier side Tamale Utrecht 3-0 on Sunday.

A second-half master-class performance from David Duncan's men helped them to a 3-0 win at the Tamale Sports Stadium.

New signings James Bissue, Winful Cobbinah and Owusu Bempah registered the goals for the ten-time FA Cup title winners.

Bissue opened the scoring for Hearts shortly after the hour mark with a well-taken free-kick.

Winful Cobbinah then beat the offside trap to increase the tally for Hearts before former New Edubiase United defender Owusu Bempah wrapped up the win for Hearts just before the full-time whistle.

The win serve as a good preparatory game for the Phobians as they prepare to take on King Faisal in the first game of the second of the Glo Premier League.
