Hearts of Oak will complete the signing of striker Yakubu Mohammed by the close of the week, according to newspaper reports
The 23-year-old is set to join the capital-based club as a free agent after refusing contract extension at Ashantigold.
Officials of the 2000 African champions are believed to have held discussions with the striker and could seal the deal by Friday.
The deal is expected to fetch the player 45,000 Ghana cedis.
The former Real Sportive and Heart of Lions attacker was the second highest scorer last season with 18 goals.
