Hearts spokesman Muheeb Saeed has issued a groveling apology to the club’s supporters following their embarrassing 3-0 defeat against All Stars in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The Accra giants suffered their second successive defeat in the Ghanaian top-flight after going down in front of their home fans.

The capital-based side lost by the same margin against the Wa-based side during the corresponding fixture, to throw their Premier League ambitions into disarray.

The club’s supporters were left crestfallen after seeing their side walloped at home which has received massive backlash.

But the club’s spokesman Muheed Saed has apologized to the disgruntled fans for their abysmal performance against All Stars.

“On behalf of management, I would like to apologise to the teeming fans,” Saeed told Accra-based Power 103.5 FM

“We can’t accept the kind of scoreline we saw yesterday. If the fans are angry and feel dejected, they are entitled to it.

“It was a bad spectacle and we must not allow that to continue. But like I said we apologise sincerely to the fans.”

Hearts have dropped to fourth on the table and will travel to Dorma to face Aduana Stars on February 15.
