Hearts interim coach Eddie Ansah is delighted with the return of goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye ahead of their crucial Premier League game against Bechem United on Sunday.

The 35-year-old returns to the squad after serving a four-game ban for misconduct.

The Burkina-Faso international kicked Heart of Lions’ Hudu Yakubu during their 4-0 trouncing of the Kpando-based side in a league game last month.

But the former Asante Kotoko experienced goalkeeper is available for selection on Sunday and that excites stop-gap coach Eddie Ansah.

“We’re very happy that Soulama will return against Bechem United. He’s our number one and his return will boost the squad,” he said

“In his absence we have struggled a bit but we’re delighted that he’s back and will be in post on Sunday’.

Hearts are facing a real threat of being demoted to the country’s second-tier and must grind out positive result against the Bechem-based side at the Accra sports stadium.
