Hearts of Oak board member Alhaji Braimah Akanbi says he was impressed with the performance of Auroras in their 2-0 win over Dawtex FC last Sunday.

The Hearts Strategy Committee member together with Frank Nelson Nwokolo and head coach Sérgio Traguil were at the Legon Ajax Park to watch Auroras dazzle Dawtex FC in the first game of the 2016 Greater Accra Regional Division 2 Zone 3 league.

Daniel Nana Yeboah sealed the win in the second half with a calm finish after Enoch Addo had opened the scoring via a sweet free-kick in the first half.

Stephen Abugri’s side could have scored a lot of goals though the two was enough to earn them all the maximum point.

And Alhaji Akanbi, who was part of the august spectators at the Legon Ajax Park on Sunday, admits being impressed with the performance of the U20 side.

"It was not a bad game at all,” he told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak.

"I am really impressed with what I saw because the boys created a lot of chances just like the main team has been doing but I think the coach has to work on the finishing. It is very important.

"I was sitting close to the head coach of the main team and he penciled in about four or five of the players. I know this is the first game so let us give the boys some little time but I think we will see more of them [in the first team].

"I wouldn’t say the boys were excellent today but I can say they were good. let us give them some little time and we will really see their true value."
