Hearts of Oak have opened contract extension talks with Super Clash hero Vincent Atinga with reports indicating that he will be handed a two year contract.

Media reports suggests that the hardworking center back will be handed a two-year contract extension before the end of the season to ward off interest from Clubs.

Atinga, who was signed under late Coach Herbert Addo has recently picked an incredible form with fears he could end up in a different club at the end of his contract.

The set-piece expert has been instrumental for the Phobians since picking a starting role following an injury to captain Robin Gnagne.

He scored the only goal for the Club when they defeated rivals Asante Kotoko 1-0 in the super clash at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.
