Hearts supporters mount pressure on coach Vucicevic

Supporters wing of Premier League club Hearts of Oak have asked management to revise the position of head coach Nebojsa Vucicevic, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The National Chapters Committee (Hearts’ supporters wing) according to widespread reports, have sent official correspondence to the club’s management team to this effect.

The official notification follows Hearts’ disappointing 1-0 defeat away to AshantiGold on Wednesday.

The mid-week result meant the Phobians had gathered just four points out of a possible nine at the start of the second round of the league.

The supporter’s cited the Serbian trainer’s inability to effectively blend the already existing players to the January acquisitions to churn out the desired results as one of their major concerns.

They are calling on an emergency meeting to make the coach aware of the griefs of the Phobian following and to ask him to sit up or be shown the exit.

The supporters are looking to also be given the opportunity to dish similar ultimatum to some players they believe are not pulling their weight to the benefit of the team.

Hearts’ recent slump has seen rivals, Asante Kotoko open up a significant seven-point lead at the top of the Glo Premier League.

Kotoko’s pull away is already seen by many as too much grounds to make despite twelve more rounds of matches left to play and are mutely being regarded as runaway league champions.
