Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has got the requisite qualification to coach in the Ghana Premier League, a club official has revealed.

According to the Club Licensing System, head coaches in the Ghana top-flight must be CAF License A holder or its equivalent.

Yatsuhashi has never handled a club in any top-flight league in the world and there were rumours he was not qualified to lead the Phobians.

But Hearts have hit back saying their Japanese trainer has no issues with his qualifications.

"The FA as part of the FIFA club licensing rule have requested from all clubs documents on their officials and not just Hearts alone. Kenichi’s coaching license hasn’t been queried and that signifies the FA see nothing wrong with it,” club spokesperson Kwame Opare Addo told Kumasi-based Boss FM.

"The coach’s certificate matches up to the CAF/GFA licensing certificate A which is the required certificate to coach in the Ghana premier league."
