Douglas Nkrumah and Kofi Agyare are major doubts for Hearts of Oak’s games with Ebusua Dwarfs and Asante Kotoko, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Striker Nkrumah is battling an ankle injury sustained in the week four fixture with Wassaman while defender Agyare is struggling with a bout of malaria.

“Douglas sustained an ankle problem in the Wassaman game and Kofi Agyare has malaria that is why they missed the last home game against New Edubiase,” clubs spokesman Albert Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Though Agyare signed in the offseason has returned to training, it is unclear whether he will be in action on Wednesday at Dwarfs but Nkrumah, GHANAsoccernet.com understands, was left out of the squad.

Hearts’ next league outing after Wednesday is against rivals, Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
