Hearts of Oak thrashed Unicorn FC 5-1

Accra Hearts of Oak trounced division two side Unicorn FC 5-1 in a pre-season friendly at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Sekondi on Saturday. 

Coach C K Akonnor fielded a strong starting line-up that included new signings Seth Owusu and Emmanuel Ansong.

Left-back Seth Owusu opened the scoring for the Phobians on the 11th minute mark with a powerful header from inside of the area before Edward Afum scored twice before the interval.

Mahatma Otoo registered the fourth with a trademark piledriver before Afum grabbed his hat-trick with a cool finish.

Hearts continue their pre-season camping in Sekondi.
