Ghanaian Premier League giants Hearts of Oak cruised to yet another pre-season warm-up victory after thrashing newly-promoted Amidaus Professionals 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
It was a game that presented coach C K Akonnor the chance to assess the sharpness his strikeforce as Mahatma Otoo, Edward Affum and new signing Richard Addae all got on the score-sheet.
Richard Addae shot the Phobians into the lead in the 21st minute after blasting home a Seth owusu stinging cross from the left.
Hearts outclassed Amidaus in the midfield and created a handful of opportunities but failed to turn them into goals.
The second goal arrived moments before the interval following a nice build-up from the center.
Mahatma Otoo latched on to a Seth Owusu supply and planted a half volley beyond the Amidaus shot-stopper.
The Phobians took total control of the friendly fixture after the break.
Edward Affum stole the show with a sublime finish.
The former Asante Kotoko striker scrolled down the right flank and darted a sensational effort past the stranded Amidaus goalkeeper.
The win takes Hearts' pre-season triumphs to six games.
